Girls day out

While Ethan was not home for 2 nights, Krystina and her Mum went to Brisbane's Queens St Mall planning to do some christmas shopping and just to spend the day together in the city.

We took the bus, because taking the car to the city is expensive and finding a car park is like looking for trouble. We got off at the bus terminal and followed the passengers as we didn't know where is the exit (the bus stopped somewhere underground the building bus terminal).

We looked around the shopping windows and searched for bargains. Krystina enjoyed smelling the perfumes and collecting sample sprays inside the Myers perfumes booths. Next, we tried the shoes, but all the ones with nice designs were too big for Krystina.

On the 4th floor, near the the kids sections, a free train ride to Santa's village was offering a visit to Santa and photographs, etc. She joined the queue and a few minutes of waiting she's on her train ride sessions. The train goes for 3 rounds each session.

Then it was lunch time, so we some lunch and went outside the shops and found there was a circus that was about to start in 10 minutes. Krystina found a good spot, and settled herself.

At about 2.30, she wanted to go the library and registered for the summer reading club. She also played in the 'Corner' with other children and wrote a letter to santa and drop it in the free letter box to Santa.

At around 5pm, Dad called that he's picking us up and we'll all going home.

Visit to the dentist

Ethan went to visit the dentist - Dr. C, on Monday for his regular teeth check-up.

Dr. C made Ethan feel very comfortable, they had a chat first about school and
christmas to help Ethan relax. Then he explained what is he going to do with his teeth and let Ethan look and touch the equipments.

The Dr. C push the dentist chair up and down explaining to Ethan how it works and why is he doing it.

Then the check-up and cleaning begun.

Ethan's been so co-operative, opening his mouth when asked and listening to dentist' advice of what not to eat and how to look after his teeth.

After the procedure, Dr. C gave Ethan a sticker for being such a good patient and a toy car!

Ethan said, he's coming back next time for check-up and cleaning
.

Ideas for christmas presents

Two more weeks and it's christmas! I have been thinking what to get for the children and for the whole family. Going to the malls, you'll see heaps of ideas what to buy and compare prices.

And since playing computer/video games is a popular past time in the house, I searched for an Xbox 360 at http://www.shopwiki.com for more information about the product and best price.

Our old model of Xbox is still working but it's outdated and the new Xbox 360 console is so sleek and I'm sure the whole family will love this for christmas.

Christmas Tree

Krystina and Ethan setting up the christmas tree. Last year we put the tree up as early as November but this year we can't decide whether to put the tree up or not because we are not sure if we will have christmas at home or at the house

But anyway, we still want to feel the spirit of christmas so the kids carry the tree and put on their hand made christmas decors.

Snake and Bunny

Ethan's a bit worried and not too confident with this slimy creature so
Dad have to join in and carry him with the snake.

'See i'm not scared anymore'

'Is that a real snake?' - Krystina was chosen to participate in the show

Let's wrap this around your neck first... getting ready

That looks fun

Patting the bunny isn't scary and nicer too - Ethan

The entertainer at the birthday party included animal lecture to educate children (and adults too) about snakes and what to do when you see one and how to avoid getting bitten. It was a good show and a great party!
