Evening Christmas Carols and Picnic at Kuraby Childcare Centre

At 6.30pm on Wednesday, 5th December, Krystina and Ethan joined their friends at school with their teachers for an evening christmas carols and to see Santa. The centre was full of kids and parents who brought their picnic blankets and picnic foods. Although the weather was not too good, it did not stop the fun and excitement for the kids. All the kids received a present from Santa and the chance to have a picture with Santa.

The event was successful. Some parents enjoyed meeting other parents and the chance to exchange christmas cards, we even receive an invitation for a BBQ party!

Queensland Museum

It's our first time to visit the Queensland Museum, located in Southbank. The Museum Zoo was filled with students from different school as part of their field trip. The center of the lobby has a huge dinosaur skeleton, a reception area and gift shop. (click the title for more information)

This resort hotel is a real winner, the staff are helpful, clean and spacious room with lots of amenities, they also have gym, jacuzzi and children's separate pool. The buffet breakfast is delicious with full selection. We'd like to stay again...

Garage

That is the picture of our garage when we moved in 5 months ago. Although it looks tidy now, our car still can't fit in it because it is a narrow single garage and it's more useful as a kids rumpus/play area.



The floor was stained with oil and thick dark mud that was left unclean by old tenants. With lots of washing, scrubbing and bleach, the floor is much better. But there is more better and easier new way of treating your garage floor, the garage floors has many different solutions to offer, which will benefit a lot of household and makes it easier to maintain and looks neat.

Christmas in November

An early christmas celebration was held in Gold Coast on Sunday, 24th November before relatives from overseas go back home.

34 Days before Christmas

Countdown for Christmas is on.. and we are starting to get ready!
Christmas tree is already out of the box and looking nice in the lounge.
Several gifts are already wrapped for early exchange gifts in Nov 25.

Teddy Bear Picnic

Krystina and Ethan joined Monty the Bear for picnic in the park to play and for some dancing and singing.

The First Retail group organised a charity event that supports the very sick childrens in the hospital.

1st year in Australia

It's been a year and 2 days to be exact since we moved from New Zealand to Australia.

Busy Sunday

We had a busy but fun day today. We had lunch at Areisha's 3rd birthday party and a barbecue dinner with Alyssa and family. It's been good to see friends and play with them again.
