Farewell Party

Ms Lisa's last day of coaching at YMCA Gymnastics. Parents and colleagues brought some food to share with others for Lisa's farewell party. A bit of emotional speech from Lisa but it was all good to meet other parents and the children had the chance to play together and bond. The food was good, socialising with parents was good too and seeing the children having a good time is priceless...

She is a great teacher, always with pleasant and happy smile and everyone loves her.

Krystina gave Ms Lisa a big hug and said her farewell, then we left.

We hope that she succeed and in goals and that she decided to come back :-)

Snake and Bunny

Ethan's a bit worried and not too confident with this slimy creature so
Dad have to join in and carry him with the snake.

'See i'm not scared anymore'

'Is that a real snake?' - Krystina was chosen to participate in the show

Let's wrap this around your neck first... getting ready

That looks fun

Patting the bunny isn't scary and nicer too - Ethan

The entertainer at the birthday party included animal lecture to educate children (and adults too) about snakes and what to do when you see one and how to avoid getting bitten. It was a good show and a great party!

Krystina reading inside when rain started pouring...

Krystina and Ethan attended a princess birthday party last sunday afternoon. The weather wasn't too bad, a few shower where it's predicted to be raining for the whole day. The children had fun playing in the custom made princess castle (very creative) and running around the backyard. They also played statue dancing and pass the parcel. Other activities were making your own jewelled crown and be creative as can be. While the little ones read books, play and just cuddled their mums.

The pass the parcel game

The most anticipated event was the blowing the candles and cake cutting. The cake was beautifully made by the celebrant's mum. (The mum by the way, was known to be very artistic when it comes to making cakes). Everyone waited happily around the table and say oooh, ahhh, wow when they saw the cake.

singing.. clapping... waiting for their turn to blow the candle

And they all went home hyper and happily ever after:-)

Busy Sunday

We had a busy but fun day today. We had lunch at Areisha's 3rd birthday party and a barbecue dinner with Alyssa and family. It's been good to see friends and play with them again.

Here are some photos with Alyssa's after having bath with them.
Alyssa is not sleeping, she's just blinked and camera caught her with closed eyes.
