Countdown for Christmas is on.. and we are starting to get ready!
Christmas tree is already out of the box and looking nice in the lounge.
Several gifts are already wrapped for early exchange gifts in Nov 25.

Krystina and Ethan joined Monty the Bear for picnic in the park to play and for some dancing and singing.

The First Retail group organised a charity event that supports the very sick childrens in the hospital.

1st year in Australia

It's been a year and 2 days to be exact since we moved from New Zealand to Australia.

Busy Sunday

We had a busy but fun day today. We had lunch at Areisha's 3rd birthday party and a barbecue dinner with Alyssa and family. It's been good to see friends and play with them again.

Paradise Point, Gold Coast

The weekend has been so busy for us but really fun! After Krystina's ice skating lesson on saturday morning, we attended our friends' house warming party in the afternoon, Krystina enjoyed playing with friends Chloe and Celeste.

Early Sunday morning, we head to Paradise Point for Aunty Lisa's birthday.

What's cooking, Ethan?

Call it mother's instinct, but when Ethan became too quiet and your cellphone is missing get yourself ready for a big surprise - - or shock!

My 9 months old phone, burnt in the microwave for only 30 seconds

That's what happen when a child gets bored, cheeky, need attention or simply being experimental. He 'cook' the phone, good thing is, he pressed the button for only 30 seconds. The phone was so hot and melted as you can see from the photos above - back to front. Even the SIM card didn't survive. Now all the contacts and important numbers are gone.

And the ever useless and slow service of call agents of Virgin mobiles hasn't replying to my email after promising to replace the SIM card within 5 business day. Calling them is even worse, I can't wait on hold for a minimum of 3 hours!!!

Storage solutions

We already bought a land, problem is the builder hasn't come up with the final cost until now!!!

The house we are going to build is a 3 bedroom house with 1 study/bed extra. It will have
double garage, but with 2 cars in there, there will be no more room left for home improvement tools.

That's why a storage solutions will help make the house look organised and clean.

Queensland Multicultural Festival

We went to Roma Street Parklands in Brisbane last Sunday to celebrate the QLD multicultural festival. Ethnic foods are sold in different areas of the park. The homemade ice cream though expensive was so delicious. Different stage were setup for performances. We went home with loads of different variety of free gourmet potato chips. :-)

Krystina celebrated her birthday yesterday, 10th Oct with Princess concept

The yellow princess costume she's wearing is a present from her Dad.

It's Spring in OZ!

As part of spring celebration here in Brisbane, Kuraby Early Learning Centre has a yellow colour theme of the day. Tuesday is Yellow Day. And here are Krystina and Ethan in their yellow clothes before going to school this morning.

Meanwhile, their Dad is back from San Francisco, CA and this is what
Ethan received. A baseball shirt from Alcatraz. It is a size 5 and way too
big for him but Ethan thinks its cool.
