One simple Sunday

Sharing an ice cream sundae...

Yesterday around 11 p.m. we catch the train from Fruitgrove station and got off at South Brisbane station. We brought our water bottles, a picnic rug and a bag of chips. Mum applied sun block protection before walking to the train station with hats on our heads.

We walked to Southbank parklands and met Dad for lunch. We had fish and chips and calamari and vinegar dip. We had 3 scoops of ice cream sundae to share too. After lunch we watched street busker doing some gymnastic acts.

Then the sky started to look dark, it was time to go home before it rains.

Music Lesson

Krystina and Ethan had the chance to try different music instrument last Friday before heading to the cinema to watch 'Alvin and the chipmunks'. Ethan really wanted to play but because he's only 2 years old the instructors let him use only 3 instruments. They only accept kids of 3 years and above. The lesson is for half an hour each week and with the chance to be accepted in the orchestra.

Dracula's

Dracula's proudly presentsFangs 'n' Fetish A fast paced production that dares to delve into the dark and sexy fetish theme, exploring burlesque in beastly fashion. The show is punctuated by hysterical comedy skits, stand-up comedy and side splitting satire. Add to the recipe a splash of mime, opera, jazz, whiptease and "two drops of sinister sauce", and you have a chilli salsa that rocks!

ACTS INCLUDE-
The Vampire Rock Spectacular-
Alice in Wonderland mind illusion-
Beijing Olympics with a weird tiltBlack Eyed Peas live wrestling-
Pole dancing retro porn-
The Stones puppet tribute-
Violent opera

Mum and Dad went to see Dracula's for Mum's birthday present. This season's theme is Fangs 'n Fetish and much better than last time we went to Dracula's. And because this is not all about Krystina and Ethans'.. there will be no photos of the kids.
The facade and box office.

The waiters/performers, outside entertaining their guests while queing to get inside.

Another top performer at the main door.

An excellent recommendation for any occasion, we really enjoyed it and this was the 3rd time we've been to Dracula's.

Dreamworld 2007

Another day of fun times spent on Saturday at Dreamworld, located in Coomera, Gold Coast. It is only about 40 minutes drive away from our house.

We bought an annual pass last October for half the price. We paid $247.50 for the whole family (except Ethan, under 3 is free) The promotion is only valid for Queensland residents.

Christmas lights

Looking for houses with beautiful lights decorations is a good excuse for going out at night and fun for the whole family. Some houses around the block have pretty collection of christmas decorations. But tonight, we went to the winner of best christmas lights, southside area.

The winner's house was not too far from where we live, just 2 minutes drive away. We arrived in the place around 7.30 and several cars were already parked in both sides of the street.

The double garage was converted as display room with massive collections of christmas toys and lights. The whole first level of the house was fully decorated and glowing. The backyard although restricted area was also decorated with reindeers and big Santa that looks like flying.

And the kids gets free lollies and stickers!

Children's Christmas Party at the Park

The company of K and E's Dad organised an early children's christmas party at the park. We all had a BBQ for lunch and games for kids. Later, Santa arrived with big presents for everyone.
